How we got started
The owner worked construction sites in Camarillo for fifteen years before starting Camarillo Porta Pros. He watched crews run out of toilet paper mid-shift and watched portable toilet companies send the wrong unit to the job. The goal was simple: show up on time with the right equipment, service it properly and charge fairly. That's still how it works. We keep a short fleet so we stay local. Deliveries to Moorpark, 11.6 miles northeast, or Port Hueneme, 12.3 miles southwest, get done. Anything much farther and we refer you to someone closer.
When you rent a standard porta potty with a 60 to 70 gallon holding tank per ANSI/PSAI Z4.3, you get the unit we actually use on our own jobs. It's roughly 44 by 48 inches on the ground and stands about 92 inches tall. That matters because it has to fit through gates and down narrow site lanes. A restroom trailer needs about 60 feet of straight clearance behind the truck, so we tell you that upfront and drive the site first.
We handle septic pumping because homeowners in Camarillo often ask. A residential septic tank gets pumped every 3 to 5 years depending on tank size and household size, and the work isn't glamorous but it's essential. We also pump grease interceptors when fats, oils, grease and solids reach 25 percent of the liquid depth.
What we rent and service
Camarillo Porta Pros keeps five unit types in stock. Standard units rent by the day, week, month or weekend. Deluxe flushable models cost more and run higher: they're for special events where a nicer restroom matters. ADA accessible units meet ADA Standards section 213.2, which says at least one unit in a cluster of five must be accessible, with a 36 inch clear width per ADA Standards section 403.5.1 and a 60 inch turning circle per ADA Standards section 304.3.1.
Restroom trailers hold multiple stalls, running water and flushing toilets. The smallest is 2 stall, the largest is 8 stall. They cost more to deliver and more to rent, but they're what you need when standard units won't work. We also rent roll-off dumpsters, storage containers and temporary fencing for construction cleanup and site control.
Handwashing stations matter. If your crew applies paints, coatings, herbicides or insecticides, you need washing facilities per OSHA 1926.51(f)(1), and hand sanitizer doesn't count. A handwashing station provides soap and towels or a hand drying device per 29 CFR 1910.141(d)(2).
How we work
We service every unit at least weekly. If your unit is on a multi-week rental, we pump it, clean it, refill the toilet paper and hand sanitizer and check the door hinges. If you rent a dumpster, we remove it when you call or on the day you specify. There's no surprise visit and no surprise bill. We quote over the phone, you confirm, and we show up when we say we will.
Camarillo Porta Pros doesn't do emergency service in the middle of the night or on short notice at premium rates. We're a single-city operator. What we do is make sure your regular schedule runs without a hitch, and we pick up the phone when you need to move a rental or add a second one mid-project.
How much does a standard porta potty cost?
Price depends on duration. A single day runs between 100 and 350 dollars. A week is typically 130 to 500 dollars. A month is 125 to 325 dollars. Delivery and service fees apply separately.
Do you do event rentals?
Yes. Weddings, festivals and races all need restrooms. An event rate for standard units runs 200 to 800 dollars depending on headcount and duration. Trailers cost more but look better.
What's your service area?
Camarillo is our primary service area. We also reach Moorpark and Port Hueneme regularly. Agoura Hills is 18.3 miles east and Santa Paula is 18.5 miles north. Ask before you assume.
Do you rent to homeowners?
Yes. A homeowner doing a kitchen remodel rents a standard unit or a dumpster the same way a contractor does. Septic pumping and grease trap cleaning are common homeowner jobs too.
Can you tell me how many units I need?
Call us. If you're building to an OSHA standard, construction sites require 1 toilet facility for 20 workers or fewer per OSHA 1926.51(c)(1). For events we count bodies and weather and bathroom lines and tell you what actually works.
